I am Colleen's Dad, Her Mother JoAnn, Brother, Daryl, Husband Dan, step-children Crystal & Kayla and I are still grieving over her loss. Her partial remains were found on 9-17, the date of her fist wedding annivesary. At age 16 Colleen and the family visted Ireland,d and she got to kiss the Blarnery stone, a I remember, I don't think she ate until we got to Dublin and found a MacDonald's.. Colleen Always had a Smile.....

Colleen was to have celebrated her first wedding anniversary on September 17th, the day her partial remains were found.
I had written a letter to the New Jersey Episcopal Life publication in Nov, they were kind enough to publish my letter in the December issue of Via Media. The letter can be viewed at: http://www.episcopal-life.org/01dec/trag.html The home Colleen and Dan were building is complete, it can be seen here: http://www.barkow.50megs.com/index.html Dan has since closed on the house, and moved into it this month. This is the link for Colleen's profile which was in the Net York times on Nov 9th http://www.nytimes.com/library/national/index_MISSING_1109.html
The NY Newsday profiled her as well: http://www.newsday.com/news/printedition/newyork/ny-lilosta2464870nov15.story Our tears still flow freely, and we are still grieving over her loss. My remembrances of her are posted here from her Memorial service. http://www.griefnet.org/memorials/2001d/nov2-7545923942.html I also have submitted her photo to be included in the Flag of Remembrance, to preserve her memory. I hope that these web sites have painted a picture of Colleen's life in a small way for you.
With A Sadden Heart & Tears, Colleen's Dad
