LOSING A GOOD FRIEND IS TOUGH, BUT LOSING A GOOD FRIEND WHO ALSO HAPPENS TO BE YOUR BROTHER-IN-LAW IS EVEN TOUGHER. HE WILL BE MISSED DEARLY BY A GREAT NUMBER OF PEOPLE, BUT NOT AS MUCH AS THOSE WHO KNEW HIM AS UNCLE BOBBY YES, THAT'S RIGHT UNCLE BOBBY NOT TOO MANY PEOPLE WERE FORTUNATE ENOUGH TO KNOW THAT SIDE OF HIM HE WAS ALSO AN ICON TO HIS NIECES AND NEPHEWS AS MUCH AS HE WAS TO HIS FRIENDS HOLLYWOOD, HOLLY, HOLLYROCK, ROCK, BOBBY, UNCLE BOBBY WHATEVER NAME HE IS REMEMBERED BY, HE WILL FOREVER BE ON OUR MINDS AND IN OUR HEARTS

I grew up with Bobby (rock)he always reminded me of a tough guy. But when you got to know him a gentle guy that always made you laugh. The smile that you would never forget,so as family when I remmeber the good times we all had together I will think of you Bobby with that big smile.

Uncle Bobby...he's one of those never had anything bad to say...got along with everyone.......type of guys......He was a great uncle to me.......Uncle Bobby was always behind me 100% through all my sports...(I loved being the only girl being able to sit in on the men conversations on sports being that i was so into sports myself)....whether it was basketball...soccer..or softball...he was there I can remember when he was showing me how to play better defense as we were waiting for our reservation at "Cheddars"...after a long day of AAU basketball for me(him of course coming to watch) he will be dearly missed....I am priveledged to have had him as my Uncle Bobby...and wouldn't trade it in for the world......words can't even express my feelings for you, so I found this song that basically sums everything up in one........
I LOVE YOU.....and ill meet you......ONE SWEET DAY

"ONE SWEET DAY"
Sorry I never told you
All I wanted to say
Now it's too late to tell you
Cause you've flown away
So far away
Never had I imagined
Living without your smile
Feeling and knowing you hear me
It keeps me alive
And I know you're shining down on
me from heaven
And I know eventually we'll be
together
One sweet day
I never showed you
Assumed you'd always be there
Took your presence for granted
But I always cared
And I miss the things we had
Although the sun will shine the same
I'll always look to a brighter day
Lord I know when I lay me down to
sleep
You will always listen as I pray
Sorry I never told you.........
Assumed you'd always be there.

From the moment that my aunt called on the phone to tell me the bad news up until now I still cannot believe that my uncle is gone. I keep saying that this is not real. However, it is real and there is nothing that can be done to change it or to stop the pain that his loved ones are going through. There aren't enough words to express the kind of person that my Uncle Bobby(or Uncle Roc as I started calling him)was. He was truly one in a million;someone that I looked up to. My uncle was very good to me.He was alot of fun to be around and always kept me laughing.I loved visiting my aunt barbara and uncle bobby. Just this summer, the last time that I had to spend with my uncle, Andy(my boyfriend) and I went to their house for the weekend and we had the time of our lives. The four of us went to the beach together, ate dinner at the infamous rarely used dining room table, and above all we never stopped laughing. Uncle Bobby even broke his saturday ritual of going to the bar to drink with his friends to spend the weekend with Andy and I. I thank God for that weekend.I will never forget my uncle bobby and I will look back on all the good times-the smiles that he put on everyone's face, the weekends at the beach, the slamming of his hand that made me jump everytime and the constant laughter that he brought to everyone around him.
Uncle Bobby, you will be greatly missed, but never forgotten. I love you Uncle Bobby. Watch over me.

Who can say where the road goes?
Where your day flows?

He was my uncle...what more can I say...over one month after the incident...its just still not settling in my mind that he's gone. One thing that will stay in my heart forever was his joyous smile and heartfilled laughter,... god I'll miss that. I never was extremely close with him-I saw him maybe a few times a year...but without a doubt, those times were always special. When you were in his presence, there was always happiness, and he truly had an amazing impact on everyone that met him. The last time I saw him was about a month before the Sept. 11th tragedy, and I regret with all my heart that I hadn't spent more time with him. I'm counting the days til I see you again- *I Love You Uncle Bobby*

My Uncle Bobby (you might know him as ROCK or HOLLYWOOD)was a strong and loving guy. He was taken away without me even having a chance to say goodbye. He would sit on the beach no matter whether it was cold, hot, or a damp yucky day. He was a funny guy. Him and his friends would go to the bar every Saturday night. I know that right now in heaven he is sitting on the beach with his friends, who also were taken away, laughing and having a good time. I loved him and I wish he was still here with us telling us some of his funny jokes and stories. Nobody could say anything bad about Bobby O'Shea. I know you are watching over us from heaven. I love you and I miss you. I know some day that I will meet him again in heaven.

I was glad to have Bobby as a son-in-law.He was always happy, carefree, and jolly to be around. He had a great personality and was very good natured. He had many friends and loved all kinds of sports. He encouraged his wife Barbara (my daughter)to forfill her dreams and better herself in whatever she pursued. He loved to go down to the beach and just sit and read a good book or paper and relax in the sun.I do not think anyone could ever say a negative word about him.He will be missed dearly by his friends and family.
God bless you Bobby
Till we meet again
